Where It All Began
When lockdowns started in Texas in response to COVID-19, I began looking for a way to support local businesses from my home. As I looked at the products I used on an everyday basis, I realized that I could switch out my national and international brand health and beauty products for local ones. When searching for Texas based soaps and moisturizers however, there wasn’t a single site that combined all the great soaps, moisturizers, and hair care products Texan businesses had to offer. That’s where the idea texangoods.com came in.
Mission
Our mission is to give Texan products more visibility. My team and I find products made by businesses from around the state and put them in one central place where you can peruse at your leisure. Some business owners were born and raised in Texas and others simply got here as fast as they could. Either way, they’re headquartered right in the Lone Star State. So whether you’re a homesick Texan or just looking to purchase Texas products without having to face the unpredictable Texas weather, welcome.
A Little About Me
I’m a fifth generation Texan, born and raised in San Antonio. After attending school at Texas A&M University in College Station, I moved to Dallas, Texas, where I currently live.
