Originally a spa founded in 2006, based out of Austin, Texas, milk + honey launched its product line in 2014. Focused on effective ingredients without toxic preservatives or animal testing, milk + honey are all esthetician approved.
milk + honey’s all natural, gluten-free Body Cream, Nº 16 is made with shea butter, coconut oil, and aloe leaf juice to hydrate your skin. The Austin body cream’s scent comes from notes of pink grapefruit, bergamot, and cardamom.
Hummingbird Farms was founded in 2003 in Hye, Texas. The brand focuses on producing its bath and body line with an aloe vera base instead of a water base. Because its formulas use aloe concentrations of 40% to 70%, you can use less than you would with normal soaps and moisturizers to achieve PH balanced skin.
The Hummingbird Farms Lavender Citrus Heavy Cream No. 16 lotion contains 56% aloe vera, providing a non-greasy formula and quick absorption and is scented using lavender essential oils. Tangerine, orange, and grapefruit make up the citrus portion of this heavenly heavy cream.
Based in Cedar Park, twenty minutes north of Austin, Texas, Isabella Duvall founded Better Shea Butter in 2013. Better Shea Butter uses globally sourced ingredients, including shea butter from Ghana, West Africa, from where they received their first batch.
In contrast to refined shea butter, raw shea butter doesn’t go through any chemical processing, which allows for higher absorption into the skin and keeps it moisturized longer. The lack of processing also means it preserves all its essential fatty acids and vitamins, such as Vitamins A, E, and F.

Based out of Austin, Texas, PHLUR has been creating fragrances since 2015 and has since extended its line of products to include body washes and body lotions. In 2021 the company was bought by Chriselle Lim and went through a major rebranding. Still vegan and cruelty-free, Phlur now touts themselves as a “modern and intentional” fragrance brand.
PHLUR creates a cruelty-free body lotion in Somebody Wood and Tangerine Boy scents. Somebody Wood is made with Sandalwood, Amber, Musk, and Saffron with citrus top notes. The Somebody Wood lotion is made with a shea butter and oil blend that hydrates and protects your skin’s barrier.
